Local Raw Sourwood Honey. Sourwood Honey is unique to the Appalachian Mountains as the Sourwood Tree is native to this region. It is found growing on the slopes of mountains in higher elevations and has a short bloom in June and July. The honey from these blooms is prized for its taste and has a light buttery and slightly floral flavor. The $24 option comes with a dipper top too!
