These are super hungry plants and have the potential to grow quickly.

Pros:  Frost tolerant, fast growing, will bear flowers and berries this year.

Cons: The berries are quite bitter (this is the only Gogi berry I have ever tasted - it was quite bitter fresh and I dried some and they didn't sweeten up at all).  Maybe they are better suited to mixing them with sugar or other ingredients to get their proposed benefits. Another con is that the plant also has thorns.
