Lar-Lyn Farms LLC

Produce farm in Buckingham County using sustainable practices.

We grow 40 varieties of vegetables using sustainable farming practices. By returning nutrients to the soil naturally and using the most natural pest management practices available, we work hard to grow in partnership with Mother Nature. Our goal is to produce the very best tasting farm foods for our customers.

We thank all of our customers for helping make our dream a reality. If you haven't already, we encourage you to connect with us on Facebook, through our web site or via email. Or please plan a visit to the farm. Our sweet dog Penny loves visitors and we especially enjoy showing folks the Veggie Barn, our brand new packing shed.

About Lar-Lyn Farms

Lar-Lyn Farms, LLC began in 1989 -- a dream of Larry and Lynn Nead. Originally from eastern Pennsylvania, we now call Dillywn, Virginia home. This small farming town in Buckingham County is a wonderful place for us to raise Black Angus cattle, home grown produce and our beloved Haflinger horses.

We grow 40 varieties of vegetables using sustainable farming practices. By returning nutrients to the soil naturally and using the most natural pest management practices available, we work hard to grow in partnership with Mother Nature. Our goal is to produce the very best tasting farm foods for our customers.

On our farm, we have 10 acres of vegetables in production along with two high tunnels, two raised beds under cover, and a greenhouse. And because we apparently love to stay busy, we also sell hay, mushroom compost and vegetable growing supplies. We feel very fortunate to count many of the Fall Line Farms producers among our customers.

You can find us at four area farmers markets and, of course, on Fall Line Farms and the Local Roots Food Co-Op. In addition, we have our own CSA which we call the Lar-Lyn Farmscription.

We thank all of our customers for helping make our dream a reality. If you haven't already, we encourage you to connect with us on Facebook, through our web site or via email. Or feel free to give us a call to plan a visit to the farm. Our sweet dog Penny loves visitors and we especially enjoy showing folks the Veggie Barn, our brand new packing shed.
